Axanthic
An axanthic snake is one that lacks xanthophores, cells in the skin which have carotenoids and pteridines. Those cells are responsible for the production of yellow and red pigments. The result is an individual snake with very little, or no yellow and/or red pigmentation which leads to a darker colored snake. You can see a picture of an axanthic Ball python here.
