Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora
An international agreement between governments that regulates the international trade of wild animals, and plants. It is meant to help protect animals that are endangered and to prevent exploitation. Generally not something a snake owner deals with unless ordering an animal from out of their home country or transporting an animal into another country.
