Leucistic
Photo accredited to: Jami Dwyer

A leucistic snake is one that has a reduced amount of all skin color pigments. This differs from an amelanistic snake which only lacks melanin and hypomelanistic snakes which have a reduced amount of of dark pigmentation but still has some present.
The lack of skin pigments in a leucistic snake can produce some stunning morphs such as the Texas Rat Snake pictured.
