My line of work requires me to wander in the jungle, swamps, and other isolated area where snakes easily found. The nearest medical facility could be 2-3 hours drive (not to mention I probably have to walk few kilometers just to reach the car), barely have any access to phone network and cannot count on air transport.
So:
1. what should I do if I had bitten by a snake?
2. what kind of treatments should I give to myself?
3. what tools/equipments should I always carry, since you said the snake bite kit is useless?
Thank you!

Well, I guess I had better just keep wearing my snake proof gaiters and other snake proof gear. I wish antivenin did not have to be refrigerated. I often find my self several miles from a road hunting and fishing in rough country and do not know what I'd do if I were bit. I guess I will just focus on not getting bit.

Thanks for the info: http://www.BestforHunting.com
